Things Players Ask Us.
What ages is this app for?
The 32 Approach is built for softball players ages 10 and up — from the foundation years through high school, college, and beyond. The program adapts to where you are, so a 12-year-old getting started and an 18-year-old chasing a D1 commit are both getting the right work for their level.
Do I need a gym or equipment?
Nope. The program is designed to work whether you're in a full gym, a garage, or your backyard. We list what's ideal for each drill — but every workout has alternatives so you can train no matter the setup.
How much time do I need each day?
You set the pace. Some days call for 20 minutes of focused work, others for 60–75 minutes when you want a full session. The app maps it out so you always know what to do — and it scales to the time you actually have.
Is this just hitting, or full training?
Full training. Hitting, throwing and defense, strength and speed, mental performance, and recovery — all of it lives in one app, all of it programmed week by week. This is the whole game, not a piece of it.
What if I'm in-season already?
The program adapts. Off-season is heavy build. In-season shifts to maintenance, recovery, and mental sharpness so you stay fresh and ready when game day comes. You don't have to choose between training and playing — the app handles both.
Can my coach or parent see what I'm doing?
Yes — your progress can be shared with parents or coaches who want visibility into your training. We believe the more support around a player, the better.
How much does it cost?
The year-round training membership is $32/month (with the first 32 days at $32) or $320/year (save $64). Specialized programs from pro athletes are separate — $99–$399 each, or bundle up to $999 for lifetime access to every program. See all pricing →
What's the difference between the membership and the specialized programs?
The membership is Sierra and Coach Summers' year-round training system with tracks for every level of play. Specialized programs are focused deep-dives on one skill or goal — built by specific elite athletes like Sam Landry (pitching), Skylar Wallace (speed), or Aliyah Andrews (slap hitting). Most serious players eventually use both.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from inside your account — no calls, no emails, no friction. Monthly cancellations stop at the next billing date; annual subscribers keep access through the end of the term.
Who builds the strength & conditioning programs?
The strength & conditioning side is powered by SummersMethod — Thomas Summers' science-based, periodized programming. Skills programs (hitting, throwing, defense) and mental performance are built by Sierra Romero and the best players in softball.
Who is Sierra and why should I trust her?
Sierra Romero is a four-time All-American at Michigan, a pro fastpitch player, and a coach who has built players at every level. She co-founded The 32 Approach with Thomas Summers to put the same training that built her career in the hands of every player who wants it. Read her full story →
